This year marks my 16th year of teaching and have been a teacher of English Language Learners for eight years in Dublin City Schools. I taught six years in Columbus City Schools and one year in the Logan-Hocking School district prior to coming to Dublin.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Art degree in Education from Ohio Northern University in 1999, obtained a Master in the Art of Teaching degree from Marygrove College in 2005 and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Miami University in 2011.
I hold a Lead Professional Educator’s in Elementary Education (K-8), an endorsement in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL K-12), A Teacher Leader Endorsement and a Principal’s License for Grades K-12. I hope to one day be a building leader where I can influence even more lives.
I live in Hilliard with my husband Mike and children Genevieve (10) and Gabriel (7). We have one cat, Claire and two dogs, Leon and Edison. I have competed in multiple triathlons and duathlons but still don’t consider myself an athlete. I enjoy sewing, putting puzzles together and sitting out in my backyard.
I would love to meet each and every one of you so please feel free to stop by my room and say “Hello”.
